Kathmandu, Nepal
I am generally well, the power is on, the internet is working, and I had some time to post some photos. Now if you have not figured this out yet, I post photos and write about stuff by request; thus since Shannon said she wanted more of Statues, Buddhas, Stupas, so she could paint or draw them I will kindly try and oblige. There is obviously no structure or method to my journal, so seriously if you are interested in something, have a question or want to see more of something…..just post a comment and I will do my best. I can also send a high resolution full size jpeg to your individual email if requested.

They say to be very careful of the dogs as they are vicious. What? the guards here at our hotel use me to catch our hotel dog each night as he likes me to rub his head.
They just kind of wonder the street eating garbage

Hey Robert!
Great stuff! I’m enjoying the slightly rambling thoughts on a wide variety of topics because it reminds me of how travel thinking works… so much stuff going on, so many thoughts and remembrances vying for attention.
It seems that despite the hurdles, Nepal is sitting well with you. Enjoy, and keep writing. Cheers!
Hi Handsome!
Thank you for calling…I feel very special when you call…even though I know you’re calling everyone else too – I pretend you like me best:) But then I get nervous & clam up cuz I know you’re calling from far-far-away and forget to ask you about EVERYTHING…Me! At a loss for words! Who would’a thunk, huh?
Something else I’ve been wanting to ask…Why aren’t you a photo journalist? Your pictures are awe inspiring and take my breath away – stunning, beautiful, exciting, funny and sad…and way more adjectives, but you get the idea… I feel like I’m on a “NatGeo” adventure (that’s National Geographic, but you knew that).
Sweetie, I think there are quite a few of us out here living vicariously through your travels, thanks ever so for sharing your personal journey with me/us.
Oh, and Pam says “Hi! and I can’t believe you didn’t ask him any details!!” That’s usually MY complaint that SHE never gets the details, ha! Shoe’s on the other foot for a switch=;)
Love you more,
sen
Bert,
New PC and you know me! Challenged! 7th version but another PC guy assisted, joke, with the movement of documents etc. I can do documents it was email but now everything is in tripled! And, all over the place!
I am glad you are having a safe and pleasant trip. Please continue to be safe and please enjoy the trip!
The boys and I – now that I found you on this new “thing” love the pictures but Nic is concerned for your safety around the elephants and lions, he is the expert as you know. SMILE!!
Continue to enjoy the trip, sorry I couldn’t take the time off, I would have loved to……but we will be in touch!
Chat with you later! And please do give my hello’s and love to your family.
Kelly
I don’t know if this will get to you Bert, but we love the website and information you are sharing. The trip sounds lovely, the ups and the downs…. well you know they come with the travel. Please continue to be safe and healthy!!! When are you coming home?
I understand the need to find ones self in all this craziness, if that is such a word, in this world. I can do nothing but admire you for your desire to explore.
Be safe Bert and I look forward to hearing from you,
Kelly
